Sweet Poison called Aspartame
- The Truth
- What is safe and what isn't
ALL artificial sweeteners:
* Nutrasweet (aspartame, contains phenylalanine on the label) and Equal * Spoonful, Neotame, Sunette (Acesulfame-k) * Splenda (sucralose) (see below) *"The truth about Splenda" * Sweetener 2000 / NutraSweet 2000
It is a neurotoxin that excites the neurons in the brain to the point of cellular death.
The following facts are shown by recent scientific research: 1. Aspartame (Nutrasweet, Equal) breaks down into methanol (wood alcohol). 2. Methanol quickly converts to formaldehyde in the body. 3. Formaldehyde causes gradual and eventually severe damage to the neurogical system, immune system and causes permanent genetic damage at extremely low doses. 4. Methanol from alcoholic beverages and from fruit and juices does not convert to formaldehyde and cause damage, because there are protective chemicals in these traditionally-ingested beverages. 5. The most recent independent research in Europe demonstrates that ingestion of small amounts of aspartame leads to the accumulation of signficant levels of formaldehyde (bound to protein) in organs (liver, kidneys, brain) and tissues. 6. Excitotoxic amino acids, such as the one which is immediately released from aspartame, likely increases the damage caused by the formaldehyde. It often takes at least 60 days without any aspartame to see a significant improvement. If you suffer from any of the symptoms below, you are encouraged to stay aspartame-free for sixty days. Your symptoms may disappear or at least be greatly alleviated. Below is a list of symptoms that may be a effect or an aggravation of aspartame toxicity. *seizures and convulsion *dizziness *tremors *migraines and severe headaches *memory loss (very common) *slurring of speech *confusion *numbness or tingling of extremities *chronic fatigue *depression *insomnia *irritability *panic attacks *marked personality changes *phobias *rapid heart beat, tachycardia *asthma *chest pains *hypertension *nausea or vomitting *diarrhea *abdominal pain *swallowing pain *itching *hives/urticaria *other allergic reactions *blood sugar control problems *menstrual cramps and other challenges *impotence or sexual problems *food cravings * weight gain *hair loss/thinning *burning urination *excessive thirst or hunger *bloating, edema (fluid rentention) *joint pain *brain cancer Aspartame poisoning mimics symptoms or worsens the following diseases: * fibromyalgia * arthritis * multiple sclerosis (MS) * parkinson's disease * lupus * multiple chemical sensitivies (MCS) * diabetes and diabetic complications * epilepsy * alzheimer's * birth defects * chronic fatigue symdrom (CFS) * lymphoma * lyme disease * attention deficit disorder (ADD and ADHD) * panic disorder * depression and other psychological disorders *The truth about Splenda |
